Walk on Saturday!

This will be my last post before the Parkinson's Unity walk in NYC on Saturday, the 27th.  I will post pictures of the event itself here and on Facebook. I hope that anyone reading this who can donate will do so.  If possible, please support me and my team (The Castle Stormers) or just make a general donation to help find a cure for Parkinson's disease.  Thanks so much!

Marion, Are you OK? I've been watching for you to post and since I also had DBS surgery about a month before you, I am concerned that you haven't written anything lately. Norma Cairns@

Marian, My movement disorder may be Dystonia but we're all in the same family and I was thrilled to volunteer at this year's Parkinson's Unity Walk, truly an amazing event. Just want you to know I link to your site on my blog in a post called April Is All About Parkinson's: -Pamela-

I am praying for you every night and praying for better treatment and ultimately a cure. Please don't give up!

About Me

My photo
I'm a lucky lady. I have a wonderful husband of 27 years, a fantastic 25 year old son (I'm so proud of him!) a loving and supportive family, the best friends in the world, a job that I love, and... Parkinson's Disease. I was diagnosed in September 2006. That was a jolt, but I'm learning to deal with it.
